Meg McLoughlin

Meg is a public policy and governance expert with more than fifteen years’ experience in the NGO and government sector (federal and ACT). She has worked across areas of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander policy including criminal justice, health, human rights, land rights, native title, constitutional reform, disability, housing and education.

She is a strategic thinker who uses governance and reform frameworks to strengthen the opportunity for outcomes to be delivered in community.

She has worked in the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community-controlled sector for more than ten years, and is grateful for the knowledge gained from spending time in communities and on country in remote and regional areas of Australia.

As Director of Policy and Impact at Gayaa Dhuwi, Meg is responsible for the delivery of the Social and Emotional Wellbeing Policy Partnership under the National Agreement on Closing the Gap along with a suite of policy initiatives at the direction of the CEO and the Board of Directors. She is committed to building the community sector and bettering the life outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people through their social and emotional wellbeing.
