On 12^th of January 2023, Gayaa Dhuwi (Proud Spirit) Australia (GDPSA) farewelled Mrs Sarah Szydzik as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the peak body for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander social and emotional wellbeing, mental health, and suicide prevention.

As an interim arrangement, the GDPSA Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Yuin woman, Ms Rachel Fishlock to the position of Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on a temporary basis until further notice. Ms Fishlock has been with GDPSA for over two years, most recently as Director, Strategy and Operations.
